PinPost Privacy Policy

1. Basic Policy

PinPost is designed with user privacy as the top priority. No user registration or authentication is required, and posts are made anonymously.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Location Data

GPS coordinates are collected when you create a post. You can choose from four levels of precision (country/region/city/exact location), and data is sent and stored at your chosen precision level.

2.2 Device Identifier

Device identification information is encrypted (hashed) and stored. This is used to prevent duplicate likes. It is not linked to posts (anonymous posting).

2.3 Post Content

We store text (up to 140 characters), URLs, OGP information (title, description, image), categories, and icon emojis.

2.4 Behavioral Data

Records of liked posts are stored.

2.5 IP Address

IP addresses are temporarily recorded to prevent misuse. They are stored in encrypted form and cannot be reversed to the original information.

3. Data Retention Period

• Posts: 24 hours to a maximum of 30 days (extended based on number of likes)
• Like data: Deleted when the post is deleted

4. Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare: API hosting, database
• OpenStreetMap/Nominatim: Reverse geocoding of location data

5. Your Rights

• Post deletion: You can delete your own posts using your deletion key
• Data erasure: You can completely delete all on-device data by uninstalling the app
• Location precision: You can choose the precision level for each post

6. Security

• All communications are encrypted (HTTPS)
• Identification information is encrypted (hashed) before storage
• Deletion keys are stored only on your device and are never sent to the server

7. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not provide collected information to third parties except as required by law.
